The Indian Rest Association is an independent community located off Route 24, in Harpswell Maine on Great Island. The association was formed back in the early1900s and owns several thousand feet of waterfront with new dock, floats and racks to keep canoes and kayaks. The community also boasts approximately 50 acres of forest land complete with walking trails. Located within minutes of Cooks Corner, Brunswick, Maine. The Indian Rest Association is located on the New Meadows River.
